  •        Reconstruction of Igoo Village in Leh District, Jammu and Kashmir State devastated by the cloudburst, flash floods and consequent landslide.

  • Shri S.K. Acharya,Chairman and Managing Director, Neyveli Lignite Corporation Ltd., presenting a cheque for Rs.2.5 crore towards the relief fund to the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamilnadu Selvi J.Jayalalithaa at the Secretariat on 21-12-2015.

    Relief Works During Cyclone Vardah

    Following the onslaught of Cyclone Vardah, NLC India Ltd had joined hands with the Government of Tamil Nadu in carrying out relief works and cleaning up the devastated areas in and around Chennai from 14-12-2016 to 19-12-2016. A team comprising officials of CSR division of the NLCIL and other volunteers distributed 3,500 relief packages containing food and other essentials, all worth over Rs. 10 lakh, to the affected people of near Sholinganallur. For the purpose of cutting and removing the uprooted trees, the NLCIL management had deployed 30 skilled workers from Neyveli.
